HEY I DOWNLOADED THIS LOGOX PROG... I GOT THE XBOXDASH.XBE or something off xbox c drive.
i patch it with new pic file, put it back on hdd, but no change..

I THINK IM PATCHING THE WRONG XBE??? WHICH ONE DO I PATCH?

The easiest way to do any of this is just to use IND-Bios instead of Xecuter2.
IND is configurable by a .cfg file and is easy to edit.
You can use whatever you want for the logo without having to patch or edit your bios.

what kind of chip do you have ?? the x3 allows for a placement of a bitmap image in the C drive to change it

It's a BIOS, that you can configure by added/editing files on your HD.

Download the RAR pack of v5003 from xbins and read up a bit. You'll see what it's about.

hmm now with changing bios...my current bios is: Xecuter2 4977..... and changing to IND-Bios... yes? is this a simple task? will this ruin my xbox? do i just gota ftp this or what?!?

Flash the IND bios the same way you flashed the xecuter bios. I've never used an xecutor chip, but with the SmartXX you just navigate to your xbox IP with your web browser. It takes about 5 seconds.

don't lie to the boy! IND-Bios is a tad more complicating. After all the FTPing, saving and resaving, renaming, reFTPing, and configuring it's complicated. But, can be done.

ummm i think its a girl but...anyway, customization is fun, but it does require flashing the bios....and since your new to this id first suggest making a backup of your c drive before you do anything. goodluck

Xecuter 2.x chip means you install and use FlashX (get it from xbins) and use it to flash your chip. It is Team Xecuters app made specifically for flashing X2.x chips, and is a tad safer that flashing from Evox, if only for the bios bank management.

i installed flash x on my xbx hdd

when i ran it, it comes up with this msg "no x2 found or chip protected"

Are you sure you even HAVE a chip installed, and not just your TSOP flashed???
