EDIT:  radio shack will have them also, so will any other store that has a decent electronics department.  just ask for it.

1 question about this. how does this solve the problems when i still have to change around the ip adress ect. because thats the problem i am having now?

i got the crossover cable.

now can someone tell me how to change the ip and anything else so i can ftp my xbox

(using my laptop which has wireless conection from the roter from my pc which i was trying to connect to before)

using a windows xp home edition

i think i got it all configured but i need help with this

   SmartFTP v1.0.983.20
   Resolving host name 192.168.0.2...
   Connecting to (192.168.0.2) ->  IP: 192.168.0.2 PORT: 21
   No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
   Cannot login waiting to retry (30s)...
