Boot from cd and run evox's bavkup command then ftp your eeprom.bin to your pc..

I'm been trying to boot from CD but I can't seem to get it done, I've tried 4 isos (Slayers + 3 I've made with EvoX & Craxtion) and CD-R's & CD-RW's... CD-RW's go right to the error screen, CD-R's spin for about 30 seconds before getting the error...

Any advice?

Same thing happens to me...

On a side note, if anyone is selling an XBox for like $100, I'll just buy a new one  sad.gif

yes he said he did. they sell chips now for $35 u wouldn't have to buy a new hdd or any thing, u would just have to reinstall a chip. it's not hard, as a matter of fact i just did an
xecuter 2.6 mod and it turned out perfectly.

If you are getting error 16 then I highly doubt the error is coming from the dvd..  I'd bet that the dvd just plugs away until the hdd generates that error..  One sure fire way to eliminate the possibility is to use a PC DVD-ROM to boot a Slayers cd..  All you need is a PC power splitter to power the drive..

i cant get it to read the 120 gigs it says my hd is full just like the stok 28 gig drive i dont get it
