Xbox Pad Button Pin Outs

I followed the excellent tutorial by bek to add an amiga joystick connector to an XBOX Pad (http://www.xboxscene...a-connector.php)

However..... since there were a bunch of unused pins on the D-Connector.... I figured they could be hooked up to the other buttons on the Pad, so I ripped open an old megadrive pad, took out all the components, re-wired it (so that each of the buttons simply went to ground when pressed, and their mapping was now the same as the amiga joystick tutorial & the extra buttons mapped to the spare pins).

Unfortunatly, I've had no luck in finding where the other buttons surface on the xbox pad (their equivalent to button A in the amiga tutorial).

Has anyone else managed this, or know where I might find more info?
