I got windows xp pro sp1 and the ics is not showing.  It suppose to be in properties/advanced under internet connection firewall, right?
How do i connect to the internet on my xbox through my pc?
The only thing that i could do is bridge connection between the 2 network card but thats too complex for me. Help please
I got 2 network card on pc connected to a hub and to the internet.

Have ya tried hooking your Xbox up to your hub too, and not messing with ICS on your XP box?

I dont want to connect to the hub cause the transfer rate goes from 12mbps to 30kbps!!!!  Im using smb to watch movies from pc so i need this.

By the way the 1st network is using dhcp and the 2nd network that goes to the xbox is using an ip that was assigned by me.

Other than I don't think the connections are supposed to be bridged, I don't know much about ICS...
Doesn't WinXP have a wizard to set it up for you?  (Sorry I can't be more help)

I've tried to click on the network wizard but for a strange reason i dont get a response. i tried with the windows xp cd too, doesnt work.  Does any1 have the same problem?

Alright Ive just got my network up as well.  so heres what I did

I set the IP on the computer toxxx.xxx.xxx.xxx and then i went to evox and set it to the same ip but the last one diget was 2 instead of 1 that way there isnt a conflict.  Then i used the ping comand to test the connection and it worked

you can try it with a router, that shouldn't cut down your connection as opposed to a hub, i have one for sale in the link in my sig below, it's an idea
