Not to my knowledge (perhaps if you're running Linux on your box, but I've never tried).  

It's a big job to make a standalone web-browser, and I don't believe anyone has bothered trying yet.

ya i think some1 said u can with linux... but then again ud have to be connected to the internet, in which case u should just use the computer

Yea, linux is the only way to browse the web on xbox.  There is too much work in developing a standalone webrowser and therefore every group has said that the won't implement this feature.  If you want to use linux though, I suggest using gentoox, it works quite well

I've seen mozilla being run on linux, so it cant be that hard.

HA! I never use your sissy "web browsers" or "graphical user interfaces". In my day, surfing the 'net meant telnetting to port 80 on a server, and, damn hell, it should stay that way!

yea it is hard, its one thing to have it run on linux and another to make a stand alone browser.
dont get me wrong it would be nice but it wont happen anytime soon

Well, I have used lynx sometimes, in my care-free youthfull days, but I prefer the beautiful unparsed HTML of telnetting. I'm a lot younger than you, fossil,  but I still have my trusty 386 laptop with Small Linux (aka Ghetto Linux) installed on it. Right now, against my pleas, I am using a winBlows xp box, and I HATE THAT DAMN WINDOWS TELNETTING PROGRAM! Just a sec . . . telnet xbox-scene.com 80 . . . Connecting, disconnected, root, incorrect password, escape character, punch people. I HATE THAT JANITOR, "GLENN"!
