Matrix With Chameleon Installation

Good Day,

My buddies and I are trying to get the matrix and chameleon mod going. I think we may have skipped a few steps and jumped into cutting the tracks on the matrix too quick. Can we still flash the matrix chip with the tracks cut or since we have the chameleon do we just put the matrix in disable/test mode and let the chameleon do the work? When we installed it the matrix light was flashing green and everythign seemed alright but the regular xbox bios just loaded up. We are assuming that the Bios on the chameleon should have booted. In short are we supposed to flash the matrix first, then cut the tracks then install the chameleon? Or, will we be alright with an unflash and cut matrix with the chameleon added on? I guess the main problem is that the chameleon is not loading the cromwell bios.
