Most likely your ISP is filtering ports, unless you are at work; then they most likely have a firewall. Go to your Network Administrator and tell him what you are doing and ask him to open up the port on the firewall for you.  laugh.gif

I`m home and have a multi pc modem, i phoned my ISP before and they said the firewall is build in the modem, and can`t be removed.

Isn`t that strange?! cause i can`t play online games with Gamespy, and now xbox live finally came out in Holland probably aswel  sad.gif  sad.gif

But they must be capable of removing the buildin firewall or opening ports right?

What modem do you have? You might can telnet to it and disable it.

Do  a little searching on the internet. Try www.portdetective.com, this should tell you if any ports are blocked.  Also, there are websites available that can do it.

you need to forward ports. the router doesnt know which computer to let use what ports, since a port can only handle one connection at a time. try one of these:
http://192.168.0.1
http://192.168.1.1
or in the run box:
telnet 192.168.0.1
telnet 192.168.1.1

i know for netgear the default account is admin/1234
look in your modems documentation for its account
