It should be black just like any other xbox out of the box, and it needs to have been built prior to august 2002. As far as where do download shit read the rules your not alowed to ask here. Its all easy to find... look around.

thanks guys you have all helped me out, i now know i have to get a boot disk to run backups, i talked to BoBo and his box is brown just like mine, so i think mine is compatible with his.  thanx a lot for the help beerchug.gif

the come out of the factory clear, are gassed and slowly fade to a mellow black by the time they reach walmart


a few shipments to japan were accidentally shipped without gassing and were deemed "collectors editions"  the beanie baby minions of ebay are now trying to sell these for A THOUSAND DOLLARS no wait A MILL-E-ION DOLLARS
