xboxmods is right about that but like he said the xbox is basically useless if you remove the modchip. if you want to revive the xbox mainboard you need to do as he said, build a 29 wire modchip and make one wire with a switch single pole single throw on and off. the tools youd need preferably is a 32pin pdip socket for the chip, some kind of 32 pin pdip chip for that socket "or you can use the plcc square chips" with at least a 256k flashrom capacity and a computer that has a socketed flashrom chip. or you can send it to me and i can most likely build you one
