Not quite. Have a look at this post.

However, even once it's flashed you can't replace the DVD drive with a hard drive. Unless you are running linux the Xbox only supports one hard drive.

No, you also got the top TSOP solder points wrong. You have to connect a wire to each side of the top TSOP point, then twist the wires together just before flashing.
