With XBPartitioner 1.1 any LBA48 bios that reads a custom partition table from the disk will now support partitions of up to 1TB, so the maximum is 2TB, but to get a disk that big you need to use a SATA disk and a SATA to IDE adapter - and the adapters are a bit hit and miss.

if you have a 1.0 or 1.1 you can use x2 5035, and if you have a 1.2-1.5 IIRC x2 4983 works (if not, IND 5003 or evox m8 i know for a fact work)

and you need 32k clusters for over 256gb, 64k clusters over 512gb (xbpartitioner 1.1 will automatically use the best cluster size so you dont really need to worry)
