That may be possible if the 2 xboxes are the same version, but being that the problematic xbox is a 1.0/1.1, you would have to solder 40 wires from one TSOP to another!

There is another option.

If you can get ahold of an old socket 7 motherboard that has the 32 pin socketed bios chip, you can use the bios chip to fix your bad flash. The bios chip has to be the older (rectangular) type and not the square type.

**update**

she is alive and well again..
installed a DUOX2 and she booted on the first shot.. I found an alternate spot for my "d0" point on the bottom of my motherboard makes it simple to solder it. I'm going to pop in slayers disk and do the mod as the duox2 wont boot my xbmc install.. oh well wont take long..

thanks for everything guys I tried to avoid the modchip install but I guess it's for the best pretty much now I have my standard bios and 2 backups lol..
