I have a xbox with a tsop flash and i dint flash it someone else did so now i go to install a bigger hdd and i get it setup like my softmod box but when i go to boot it it dosent start xbmc it just stops at the boot screen it has the
evox M7 256k bios on a winbond chip it a v1.1 and i dont think the bios has bigger hdd support enabled because when i open the backup evox made of the bios in xbtool it says that the lager hdd is not enabled Any suggestions should i flash it and how?

That bios is very old and you are probably right. How did you format the drive? Did you format it with two partitions (6&7)? It sounds like it isnt booting because it is looking for an xbe that doesnt exist. What dashboard were you using prior to this? You can boot to a boot disc and view your partitions to make sure they are formatted and have the proper files installed. If they are, then you need to upgrade your bios and you will need to use raincoat (winbond tsop). You can find plenty of information about flashing the tsop using raincoat in the pinned threads.
I would recommend that you either isolate half of your tsop, making two-512kb banks. When you upgrade, only flash one half. That way, if something goes wrong, you can revert back to the other half of the tsop and still have a booting xbox.
