Don't give up the goat and do that quite yet. Have a look at this

It might take quite a few tries to get it to boot, but it still would be faster that soldering a cheapmod. If your modchip doesn't have multiple banks (and you have no other way to reflash the modchip in case your xbox doesn't like the evox tsop bios trick) then you might want to give up on the tsop and just use the modchip.

Still wont work. There "technically" would be no spec of bootable code on the TSOP.
