Xbox 1.0 Flashed But Not?
« on: December 19, 2006, 09:29:00 PM »

Hi. My 1.0 xbox loads my dash fine but when I went to play one of my backed up games it went back to the dash. I have tested this in both evox and XBMC. I have it flashed with 4981.06 bios. It will load my slayers disk but not most of my originals or backed up disks. I flashed it with a 1mb bios and now it wont read originals. Any help would be great. I am completely lost. I have never had this happen before.

Please Lemme know,

Do all the typical fixes first.
Delete the contents of e:/cache/
Delete x, y, and z drive contents
then try again

I would reflash the TSOP with 4981.06 again or x2 5035 vOld 512k and see if that works.

A shitty hdd can do that if it cannot write fast enough to the cache drives.  Try swapping it for a known good one.  The evox disk will always boot as it loads to ram and does not require a working hdd.
