This is a modchip question in the TSOP flashing forum(no modchip), but have you tried booting with the chip off?

Try holding down the white button while the Xbox boots. This should give you the X3 dash and you can then ftp into the xbox to replace any missing dash files. What exactly did your friend do to cause this problem?.

Ok, first, ask your friend what he did.  Second, try holding down the power button until the xbox boots.

Okay I tried for the third time messing with slayer's installer, It says my bios version is unknown but I can log into the FTP does this mean my bios are fine? is there anyway I can somehow fix my unknown prob through FTP?

Don't worry about it, more hassle than what it is worth to "fix" the problem. Your xbox will function perfectly fine.

The problem is that my xbox isn't functioning perfectly fine though, even after installing slayers disk, It still hangs on the XBOX 'Xecuter Rox My Box' Screen

What dash were you using before?  Boot slayers and ftp in.  Check and see that all of your dashboard files are there and are named properly.  If not, ftp them over and make sure they are  named properly.  Sounds like he deleted something somewhere to me.

 

You may also have more luck getting this moved to the 'Xecuter Forums' as i dont have much knowledge with x3's and most people who read this forum probably dont either.
