I flashed my 1.4/1.5(not sure which one didnt check LPC) xbox with EURASIA flash disc. I used evox bios.

I wanted to reflash with a newer bios because of problems playing some back ups.

I backedup bios to c:/bios and it was 1 Mb.

However, I just knew that I used a 256Kb bios, and that was the size on the Eurasia Bios Disc.

Replaced bios on disc with x2 4976 (multiversion) reburned and tried to reflash.

Went through all the hoops now I get 3x power up, then FRAG. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)

Will the three wire trick fix this xbox?

flash has support for the 'Focus' TV chip. Currently Evox M7, X2 4979 and
Cromwell 2.27 have support for this. Later versions of these bios'es should
be ok also. For xbox v1.6, use Evox M8+ or other compatible BIOS.

Think I found my problem, can I use three wire trick to bail me out or will I need to buy a chip?

pretty sure 3-wire trick wont work considering the TSOP is 256k on a 14.-1.5, and you can't split it.

Infirno is right. You dont have another bank or image on your tsop to do the three wire trick with, so it wont work. Next time use the newest 256kb xecuter bios, which is 4983 (or 4981 if you want to edit it) and you wont have any problems.

Buy a chip.
