3 Wire Trick Gone Bad

hey all a couple yrs ago i flashed a 1mb tsop with a 256k bios  i used the 3wire trick to bring the box back to life
rather than remove the three wires and flash with 1mb bios i left the 3 wire trick soldered to the motherboard and booted off of one of the 4 banks with the 256k bios.... now a couple yrs have passed and i forgot that the 3 wires were still attached and the box was booting from one of the banks with a 256k bios well to make a long story short i flashed again the other day with a 1mb bios now the box frags what are my options now if there are any ? if possible i would like to fix without a modchip

LPC reader/wrieter, or modchip, I'd say.

thanks guys for the replies ... my reason for the 3 wire trick in the first place was i flashed a 256k bios to a 1mb tsop as a result it would only boot with th 3 wire trick, rather than cut the wire and reflash i just left the wires together and booted off the 256k it worked great like that for 2 yrs until the other day   only use raincoat for winbond and evo for all others to flash.... caster420 could you point me to a how too for booting off another bank ? tia

thanks for the diagram caster420 i did get it to boot off another bank the flubber screen comes on then i get xbox needs service msg but it doesnt show any error codes, any ideas ? i'll keep playin with it to see what i can find if anyone has any ideas please post    caster420 luv your avatar woot woot

ya hd is locked everything hooked up, i do have an alladin advance modchip around here some where but it is flashed with a 1.6b bios and this box is a 1.1 i dont have a programmer for it is there a way i could rig something up to program this modchip ?
