Help Error 21
« Reply #15 on: August 15, 2006, 04:42:00 AM »

This is a IDE Cable

IPB Image

Make sure it is Clear of any cuts, nicks, tears .. and that it is fully seated on the Motherboard, DVD Drive and Hard Drive.

Check the IDE Pins on the Motherboard, DVD Drive and Hard Drive to see if any of them are Bent.

IPB Image

If they are all seated fine, none are bent, either the Hard Drive is faulty or the XBox IDE Controller is faulty.

if you have a XBoxHDM Disc (with EEPROM.BIN), you can check if its locked with boot option 3, type unlockhd -a and see if it unlocks it.
