Sounds like to me your mcpx is likely the problem.  Try pressing down on your mcpx while booting and see if it fixes the problem.  If this is the case, Alex may be able to help you better with fixing/replacing, as i havent personally had this problem before.

I'm not sure that I follow, I tried pushing down on the nvidia chip labeled "MCPX X3" and it still did it. Was this what you were talking about?
