I have been going through the forums for hours looking for solutions. I have come up with the following, let me know if I they are right or wrong.

1) In order to play on live with a version 1.5 Box the TSOP must have the original ms bios?

2) In order to play on live you need to use your original hd

3) Using evox on the c drive to flash the bios I need to put the original ms bios for v1.5 in a c:\bios folder? Then flash the bios with the evox utility.

ANy help would be appreciated, thanks!

1. Yes.

2. Not necessarily. If this Xbox has never been on Live, you will be able to use your upgraded drive just fine.

3. Yes.

Just make sure your upgraded HDD is lockable (and locked), or you will be stuck with Error 05 when you boot up with the stock BIOS.

before you flash you might want to install a softmod through FTP

and if evox hangs on "erasing" when you try to flash use a eurasia flashdisc instead

and yes, make sure you lock your HD before flashing
