General Tsop Questions
« on: June 17, 2006, 07:23:00 PM »

im looking at the -newbie guide to 007- in the tsop tuts area and i have some questions

1)it says get the file 007savewithraincoat.zip well on xbins i found .7 raincoat and .5 raincoat....as far as his guide goes it seems like he uses .5......is that what i should use?????

2)it says have your network around 192.168.0.* well currently my pc is like 192.168.2.34 and my modded box is at 192.168.2.33.........then it says change it to the 192.168.0.*.......it says the new xbox will be 192.168.0.64........should i try to make the new xbox something like 192.168.2.64?????? is that possible????

3)it says go to windows command promt (dos i think) i cant remember how to get to it.

sorry for confusing questions but now you know how i feel

thanks for the replies (in both threads tongue.gif )

1)the .7 raincoat has different files in the folder that dont go at all with the tut and being my first one i think ill prob just use .5 cause once the things flashed it wont matter, and i can follow each step.

2)yea using a router but all comp/xbox on the network have 192.168.2.* but can i just change the comp i want to use when im doing the ftp then switch it back?

ps right now the comps obtain ip address automatically.

no, you dont need to change the router setting, just change the PC to be on the same range (ive done it this way before)

if you are goign to use raincaot .5 make sure you use a 1mb bios for a 1.1/1.0
