i bought a 2nd hand 1.1 xbox from eb today flashed the full 1mb with x2 5032 using eurasia when i got home, all went well until i deleted everything on the C: drive except my shortcut to xmbc. Now when i turn it on it goes through the flubber and half the X appears with a 13 or 21 error in the corner. I know the hd is fine because x2config loads and it was unlocked so i stuck it in my chipped box. Just wondering if anyone has a fix because it wont boot any cd-rw's (its a samsung rev. b and has read these cd-rws with no problems to flash using eurasia).

Yeah, make a Evox boot disc or similar (use a program that has FTP capabilities) and boot off that. Then you can FTP in and repair the C: drive data.

It's like when you upgrade the HDD. The new drive wouldn't have any data on it to begin with.

yeah i was only confused about the error number because when i have it on my other xbox with a chip and the C: is gone it goes past the flubber to a blank screen, anyways i cant get it to boot anymedia at all including dvd-r so it seems my dvd drive has died =[

heh cheers for the help but the laser had died in my samsung (so annoyed it could read any cdr, cdrw, dvd-r i threw at it) so just swapped it out with my chipped boxes phillips and used aid to fix it up.
