The LPC has been filled, by the looks of it, for an LPC modchip. Is it possible that someone screwed up the tsop and replaced it with an Intel chip? Ive NEVER heard of an xbox that came stock with an intel chip. And now that I think about it, if he comes back and says it works then the picture is a photoshopped version because no current flash tool contains flash codes for an Intel chip, as far as I know.

what about the pcb outlines surrounding the tsop area? i have never seen anything like it on a retail mobo? my experience with xbox is also restricted to retail mobos only so that doesnt say much for me, but does the pcb outline like that indicate it is a specific mobo version or possibly a dev or beta mobo? the parts around it and markings are a bit different too...

ive seen those on every xbox in my experience (which is limited) but nonetheless I have seen those outlines on several boxes.  but not too sure about the partially-filled lpc holes - I've only seen every hole filled or none and it doesn't appear to be done by a person because there are no heat marks around them which is almost always bound to happen when working on those little holes.
that would be pretty sweet to have a 2mb tsop, having possibility for 8 different bioses. smile.gif

woo.. coming back..
I FAILED to flashing the TSOP !!!

I use Slayer 2.6, eurasia 1.3 and AID 3.0 disc.  All failed.

I try to bridge those points again and make sure it's completely brigde.
but still got no luck.

I try all 256, 512 and 1M.  512 and 1M show that its' wrong size or something, I can't exactly remember the error, but something like that.  Only 256 has no such error but it's still not flash anyway.

Slayer = Flash not writable
AID3.0 = freeze on erasing
eurasia = unknow device....bra bra bra  Read-Only...bra.bra..

Seems that I have to bring it back to the shop I bought it to get the upgrade !!! and PAY!!!
Is it a kind of protect usres from flashing the TSOP ???

oh.. one thing..  on evox dashboard show that it's 256K (D6 Bios)...  personally, i dont' think that it's 2 mb...  but Bios Checker show that it's V. 1.1.  but 1.1 don't have 256 bios, right ??!!

a 2048 CMOS flash device with 2048k memory, and a lovely datasheet, with pinouts

Its 2048Kb not KB, which makes it 256K.Could try to do it like a sharp TSOP but wouldnt take the chance might fuck it up. But hey, if it works then your golden. Also, it has to be an upgraded TSOP because 1.1's dont have 256k (as far as we know yet). You still have the original serial number, did you try determining version by that yet?

I'm not check the serial yet, that is the last step of determining but other steps before that in the tutorial told me that it's 1.2 like

1.  No Fan on CPU
2.  Power connector is for 1.2
etc...

I think I shoudl take the full pict. of the board for your guys to check...
