i know you prolly get this asked a million times but ive gotta ask
i need some help a friend of mine (no its realy true) he flased a few xboxs using the splintercell xpliot but all he did was install evox he didnt patch or install an older version of MS dash nowthe xbox said error 16
so i hot swaped the drive using atapwd i removed the lock and blanked the drive i then installed the drive in my modchiped xbox
then i installed a softmod ready evox dash and MS dash i then tried to use config magic using his seriel number under the xbox then updated the eeprom but it gave me the same key that was allready on the drive
so i then tried to use liveupdate on my PC and it gave me a differnt code but that too still is the wrong key for the xbox
i know im doing some thing stupid
ohh i have the old code writen down aswell but im sure its no good as that code was shown to me after i unlocked the drive using atapwd then when i installed evox n such
 
can some one please help me ive searched and searched for help but all the help files assume i have the eeprom and i dont cause it isnt my box
