does this bios  4981.06_256k.bin  support harddrives that 160gb or 200gb or do i have to patch it with something?

yes it support large HDs, with all space on F, which is fine for 160-1250gb HDs

for a F+G split use a .67 bios

ok when i flash the tsop the xbox will shutdown on its own right? but will it come back on by itself or will i have to turn it back on myself?

xbox-linux.org has a nice version chart.... you can get to the link by looking at the XB-Versions tab on the man xs page, then click where it sez look by serial number, it gets you to the page you need.

big thanks to lordvader129 for all your help  and thanks to all the others that helped me along the way. everything went good and now the tsop is flashed and up running and working.
