no, you need the special bios, and the only place i knew to get it was packed with the evox 3021 dashbaord, but now xbins no longer hosts evox and evox only hosts the new(er) 3935 dash
theres no way to just boot and turn the chip off, if it were that simple why wouldanyone bother with a 29 wire fix? lol, the TSOP bio somehow loads itself into memory, then recalls the bios afterward, since d0 is only utilized in the first half second or so of bootup you need to load the TSOP bios from LPC (d0 grounded) then when it recalls the bios half a second later you must have d0 disconnected to it looks to the TSOP
