Tsop 1.2 Sharp Wont Program

i know about haveing to solder and twist the two wire on top then solder the extra wire on the bottom of the mother board but i get in evox, twist the wires together and click flash it freezes at erasing. in raincoat it dont flash it. so what could be the problem thanks for the help

check your solder with a multimeter

i have checked with a meter and resoldered a few times and they all are connected good but still no luck. any other ideas, thanks again for the help and time.

Did you do the VCC to whatever connection it is that needs to be done on a sharp?

what version of raincoat are you using? raincoat .3 (the one included in 007savewithraincoat.zip) i believe will not use the full-chip erase command,w hich on some sharaps will freeze at erasing

try using raincaot .7

ok thanks for all the replys. i think i have raincoat .7 but i will make sure i have it updated. if that dont work ill try the gentoonx loader. thanks again.

well thanks for all the help. but i still cant get it to flash, so im just going to do a softmod on it. thanks agian for trying to help me out.
