got a 1.1 guy said he had a bad mod chip install, get the board it frags so i try the three wire trick still get a frag? so im wondering what did he do to the board.

check for broken traces and solder splashes, if the board is clean then he probably did a bad flash and its 29 wire modchip time.

Before you hit up the 29 wire chip, check the signals on the LPC.  Make sure they're all present and correct.  Check the d0 points, make sure they're clean.  Check for any other components that might have been knocked off.  If its all good, try booting each of the 4 256k bios one at a time.  Here's hoping one of them will work.

bank 1: ground a18 and a19
bank 2: ground a18, 3.3 a19
bank 3: 3.3 a18, ground a19
bank 4: 3.2 a18 and a19

You need a 29 wire modchip to fix a corrupted tsop.  You can just install any chip, and run the box off the chip, but if you want to repair the tsop, you need the 29wire chip.

how can i do a 29 wire mod i have read a lil on them and they dont telll were i can obtain one of those, thats all i need.
