Unexperience Solder Need Advice

What wattage iron are you using?  I use a cheap pos radio shack one and it works great.  The best way to solder the tsop points is to melt a good amount of solder to the iron then touch both points with the solder on the iron.

Don't try to blob the solder.

Too many boards are being ruined
by noobs who are taking the advice
from experienced solders who can
do the blob thing and make it sound
easy.

Try this method instead

It is alot easier and stay away from acid based
solder and flux.

Eh, thats how I've always done it and never had a problem.  Try both ways and see which way is easier for you.
