Raincoat said that the TSOP write enable points are not bridged together as you thought  they were.  Check you bridge points again.  From the picture, the top point (near r7d3) is not soldered.  Need a little more heat applied to it.

Are the damn solder points on the bottom right next to each other or are they so far apart you need to connect them with a wire?  I've seen two different guides and the confusing on has the points right next to each other on the bottom.  The one that looks written out well has the point on the bottom about an inch or so apart.  Which one is the right one, b/c it will not flash for anything.

Ok I see that I soldered the right points and they look near perfect now.

I got mecheurasia. Got it on my hdd again.  Put in mechassault and go to campaign.  Run Linux from there.

Then I go to flash bios and my bios is not showing there.  I had it in there a try before and hit it, but it didn't work.  Now its not even showing up in there.

I do not know what to try now.  I am exhausted.  Been reading and reading and asking and trying.

If I lock the hdd to the box will I be able to boot msdash? Do I need to do something with the eeprom if I want to do this, b/c remember this xbox came with a hdd that was locked and it couldn't use. I'm getting the feeling I can't flash from the modchip.  I don't know anymore.  I'm exhausted.

You are almost there.  Just FTP the BIOS over from your PC to xbox and you will be all set.

Try putting in the chip, put in the 80 gb hdd, format it with slayers or something. Then use config magic to lock the 80gb hdd. Take out the chip and flash the tsop with a gamesave exploit.

"BTW it would not flash with the modchip in there"

Unless you boot a specific TSOP BIOS from your chip and ground the A15, you can't flash from an LPC modchip bootup.

It's useful to know it's possible if you don't happen to own one of the games used in the expoits.
