just wondering if there is anyway to change the telnet ip address to acess raincoat? i tsop flash alot of boxes and i get sick of changing my network over to a different gateway. just wondering if i could change it to 192.168.0.64 to 192.168.2.64?

any help appreciated

If ur on a router, type ur default gateway into ur browser, login box, admin/admin and change it there, if using a 2nd nic, just go to the tcp/ip properties of that nic and change it there.

i cant do that. im on a 13 computer network, with static ip computers. if i change the routers gateway i have to go thru and change each computer and hope that no networking apps screw up....

Why not just add another Network card and dedicate it to your Xbox?

Other than that, in 2000/XP you can add an alternate network which will be checked when an appropriate subnet is called.

why not use dhcp?

why run a static IP setup...

to run raincoat, you HAVE to change the IPs to 192.168.0.x

i have to change my router everytime i use raincoat.

why do u change it everytime u use raincoat and not just leave it on the 192.168.0.1 default gateway????

Exactly what I was thinking.  My home network's 192.168.0.x, no problems here.

i have alinksys router, and anyone that has one knows form the factory they have an IP of 192.168.1.1, i changed mine to 192.168.0.1 just for raincoat, lol
