i have been scourring the xbox-scene and read some of the tuts. but i am still unclear about one thing.

 if u have a modded xbox can u soft mod a virgin box to play backups.
and if true does the proccess involve flashing th orignal bios

1: you FTP an exploited gamesave tot he modded box, copy it to a memory card

2: you can install a softmod (no flashing) or flash the TSOP

cause right now i have a modded xbox, a virgin box, and a pc - networked with a router

you need some way to get the exploit on the unmodded box, you cna hotswap the HD, but then you arent using the modded xbox, lol

what about if my stock hdd is formated for a pc can i reformat? it, and also how cann i find my epprom if i did so.

Go out and buy a memory card or borrow one from someone.  Ftp a hacked save to the modded xbox and copy it onto the memory card.  Put the memory card in the unmodded and copy over the save.  Launch the appropriate game and finish up.

yeah, well MS wasnt thoughtful enough to include a signed program that will let us flash the TSOP, so we have to run an exploit in order to launch the appropriate apps, lol

when u say " Launch the appropriate game and finish up" does that mean when the explote is on the unmodded box u can launch any game?

h emeans launch 007auf, mechassault or splinter cell (whichever game you got the save for and flash the TSOP

when you use the game to load the save it exploits a bug in that game and allows you to run unsigned code, well, sortof, the xbes have to be signed, but the exploit patches the signiture key to a known value so we can sign the xbes ourselves

You only need to run 007:auf (OR splinter cell OR mechassault) ONCE, to load the save and flash or install UXE.
Once that is done - you have a modded xbox - and all the perks associated with such

Thats the answer i was looking for now just got to find a way to do it without a floppy and a memeory card.
I am poor and cheap so i have to make do with just a modded xbox to do the exploit on to a  vergin
