I have the ST M29F080 tsop.
Is this a sharp? because then i have to solder a bit more.

You have replaced the bios, not the dashboard.   Make a EvolutionX boot disc (go check the EvoX forum for instructions) and boot from that.  If it boots, you have succesfully flashed your xbox, if it doesn't, you haven't!
