I have everything listed in the TUT hdd driver and the 4 dll files I have bert and ernie I also have evox m8 bios and default.xbe and evox.ini I hook my xbox HDD to my pc after the window on the tv goes dark and click refresh in the properties and then click on the hdd drivers driver.exe and I get this message"the ordinal 5078 could not be located in the dynamic link library MFC42D.dll" so whats gives

1.) this is the tsop flashing forum, try your question in the xbe exploits forum

2.) why the hell are u softmodding a 1.0 xbox?

3.) stop trying to make softmod complicated, use Itools, and stop this "hotswap" madness

Well for one, softmod is gay, for two softmodding a 1.0 is kinda like a "waste"...A 1.0 is a tsop flashers dream...1mb tsops are cool cuz u can split em with a switch and have a hacked and stock bios (for xb live pruposes)...This is the tsop flashing forum and u can get a lot of help with that...

If ur stuck on softmod, go to the xbe exploit forum.

I do agree this is the wrong forum but I don't know why people always say that softmods are gay. They can do pretty much anything a chip or tsop can do except play on Live. If you ask me, a softmod is much easier to install. You can have an infinate number of bioses without switches with a softmod too. For me though I dont use Live so its not a big deal. I have an external hard drive enclosure so if I wanted to use Live I could just slide my softmod drive out and slide my stock drive in.

go to xbe exploit or gamesave exploit forum

its better doing flash tsop on xbox v1.0 than softmodding
xbox v1.6/b users are those who use softmodding, if dont want to buy modchip for their xbox (your just wasting ur 1mb tsop that u can flash it with hacked bios)

:summarize:
*flash tsop- for all user that dont want to buy modchip for their xbox (smart people, that use their brain)
*softmodding- for all user that dont want to buy modchip for their xbox specially those who owns xbox 1.6/b (its a waste if u going to softmod 1.0-1.5, considering u can flash it's tsop with hacked bios)
*modchip for all user who has xbox, (DUH)

To the thread starter, if you're going to hotswap, use XboxHDM. HD Driver sucks.

to answer u, i am already here (on 2002) and know all about this before u join up xbox-scene...(february 2004)
i was just not active replyer/helper cuz im sick of replying s2pid question like what im doing right now talking to u and gets me bored/upset for replying it, thats why i didnt much go here, then i return back here yesterday to try my nick if still going to work but it aint working no more, thats why sign up again for new account to help u s2pid person like u (celinedrules)...

but its useful on v1.6/b for those who dont want to buy chips...
