I Need Some Serious Help!

I first got this error:

UNKOWN DEVICE Read Only??? manf=0x09, dev=0x00
Try adding the device ID to your raincoat.conf

and i was told i had bad soldering.  So i went in and tried to fix it.  Now i have this error:

UNKOWN DEVICE Read Only??? manf=0xDA, dev=0x8C
Try adding the device ID to your raincoat.conf

Obviously something that I did when fixing the points made the error change but what's this new error and what does this mean.  Is there are list of what these erros means.  This xbox is a 1.4/1.5.  I'm using the auf raincoat. All help appreciated

Agreed, add the device to the config file, if that doesn't work, check your soldering, possible might be a bad solder, doubt it though, most likely just needs to be added to the .conf
ahhh just noticed its a winbond chip, evoX will not flash these because they have to be erased block by block, and evox does not do that, so even when added, still will not work, you HAVE TO USE RAINCOAT and ssh into the box to flash.  there are tuts on this, to get you started, use putty, google it and download it, to ssh with windows.
