9 - kernel - HDD parameters (PIO/DMA/or size {debug}, certain size minimum is required for debug)

Are you saying that you made a BFM (Boot From Media) bios in xbtool then flashed it from your TSOP?  BFM bioses are designed for a bios loader (such as PBL) to load the bios from the HDD or DVD drive.

Why did you tick this option if you didn't know what it did?  It sounds to me like you need to get yourself a modchip, as you have screwed the bios on your TSOP.

You could always try to load a game up from disc, if you can then you will be able to reflash the TSOP, but if you can't then a modchip is the only way

he didnt flash a BFM bios, if he did that it would just reboot and frag, no error code at all

9 usually means your HD is toast, install a new one, hopefully you have a hacked bios on your TSOP and not a retail kernel

your bios is FINE, if there was a problem with the bios it wouldnt boot into any error screen at all, it would just flash red and green with no video

anyway, try a new IDE cable, its also possible the IDEc ontroller ont eh motherboard is blown (in which case your SOL)

Thank you lordvader that really make me fell happy....but......let me see... i dont understand that thing you said at the end...im SOL...?? by the way the same day i screw up my xbox i change the Hard drive i put it a 40 gb drive....but it work perfectly..i install Evox and everything was cool...later when i flash it was the problem...now...It doesnt matter that the video doesnt show up???...and why it doesnt boot the DVD drive either???Thanks for the Help!

the HD is the first thing the bios checks, if theres no HD it cant do anything so it gives you the error, i think its just coincidence this happened at the same time as the flash

did you try a different HD? did you try your 40gb in another xbox? did you try an different IDE cable?

The xbox checks the hard drive before the "start video" afaik. So if there was a problem with the hard drive it would give an error before loading up that far (it stops as soon as a probelm is detected).
