Yes... a chip will work fine... You need to rebuild LPC tho... And use m8_1.6 as your BIOS.

I still believe, that 1.6 bios is possible to flash =)
Some l33t guy's should research 1.6 motherboard how it should be done =)

Yeah this faq had to have been done! It seems that on every page there's some guy asking how do u tsop flash a 1.6?

lol, good one. That's be wierd to find out hwo to flash the 1.6 bios somehow. I heard that there is some wierd encrypted comunication between two points that MS set up so that something or many things would work as a TSOP. Don't care anyway. im really tired.

The problem i have found is that the Xcyclops has bee write protected permenantly to make a tsop impossible? Would MS really do this or is it a spoof with the access points disguised very well? Anyone wanting good diagrams of the 1.6 can find here but this is for modchips really....
