In that case - forget about TSOPing, the solder points are quite small and you have to know what you are doing otherwise you will kill your XBox.

Get an old PCB and practice your soldering first..

those two jumper spots are easy. just get a 15W soldering iron (and solder)from
radio shack and follow the pictures above for the points.

just put a tiny blob of solder on the tip of the iron and aim for a spot in between the points and you will solder then together it only takes like 1 sec.

if you dont have a memory card you can still tsop flash using the

hdd swap method and xlinux cd..

use this guide.

I was woundering if anyone has did this, or if it will work???

1.  buy one of these
user posted image
2.  install a 2.3b, and connect the above mentioned two jumper points
3.  flash the Tsop with what ever bios using the slayers (it says flash Tsop in on of the options)
4.  remove the xapter/chip
5.  Play with my newly modded xbox in eternal bliss????

Does this work?  Or do I need more, I am a noob when talking .Tsop, done many executer installs though.

Sorry if this has already been posted, but I searched and saw nothing.

a lot of people stress how hard it is to flash the tsop. if u have versions 1.2/1.5 its easy. just follow the tutorials and make sure u have the right rom. expecially make sure it isnt corrupt
