well do you know where to look in order to determin there aren't any points bridged? If you didn't do the mod yourself, maybe they used conductive paint.

check that out... are those points on your mobo clean?

I got it. I payed for a guy to mod my box, after this bad flashing, I opened my box and there were no solder points on the board, neither a modchip. I would like to know what has happened then, and how I could fix it...

Thanx for explaining it to me....

I forgot to say this; I checked the motherboard and there were no evidence of bridged stuff...

if you go the 29-wir route youll have to install the chip, boot the xbox, cutr a few wires (not sure which ones ofhand) then flash the TSOP

with a regular (LPC) modchip you just install it and leave it there, you wont be able to disable or remove it

let me see if I got it, if I put a chip on it, it will substitute the tsop?
will I have to buy a modchip anyway?

Thanx..

a regular LPC modhip (xecuter, smartxx, xenium, aladdin) will replce the TSOP just fine

the 29-wire mod is only if you want to FIX the TSOP and remove the modchip, which isnt really a big deal, if you get a multi-bank chip you can flash a retail biops to it and still go on Live
