Does that include shipping.

and you didn't answer the question about it booting right up after I install the chip, without having to do anything else since I think it is pre flashed.

and does it use the same points as the tsop flash, b/c I have resoldered them a few time and I think it might have problems at those points

Yea that includes shipping.  I've never installed this particular type of modchip (only old X2lites)  though I can direct you to tutorials.  I know that it doesn't use the tsop points but putting in a modchip will bypass the bios on the tsop neways.  I don't know if you're at the end of your rope though.  Did you have a backup of your eeprom?  Since you still got another modded box to mess with, I'd say try all unlock/lock programs and review any relevant tutorial.  I don't think you're as screwed as you are.

If you have a modded xbox handy then I may have a way for you to restore your fooked unlocked HD back. Could be risky , but it seems your already aware of that.
You say you backed up the eeprom to the HD from the Unmodded error 21 xbox. (so now you got Error 5 cause the HD is unlocked)
If so then you can get this will work again.

First back up your Modded xbox eeprom with Config Magic onto the Modded xbox HD and then unlock that HD while your at it and shut the xbox off.
Take the HD out of the Modded Xbox and put it aside for now.

Plug in the Unlocked Unmodded HD from the error 21 xbox into the Modded Xbox.

Launch your Config Magic off CDr/DVD-r in the Modded Xbox with the Unlocked HD from the error 21 xbox plugged into it.

In Config Magic it offers the option to Update your eeprom ... use the back up you said you made originally on the error 21 xbox.

In other words your putting the eeprom data from the error 21 xbox into the Modded xbox ...

now buy all rights you should be able to use config magic to lock the HD ....
shut down the modded xbox and take the error 21 HD out of the Modded xbox and put it back into the unmodded Error 21 Xbox.

If all went well then you should be able to boot that sucker .

I have done similar myself before.

I'm only posting this to give you food for thought on how to tackle your prob.

Cheers ..
