Remove the "flash BIOS" option.
Don't install anything that lets you delete files that ought not to be deleted. That means Avalaunch, boXplorer, XboxCommander and DVD2XBOX are out. If you need to fiddle with the machine yourself, these can be put into a different folder (I use "ProApps", for Professional Apps) and you can run boXplorer from a DVD-R to access them. If you do this, don't forget to tie down XBMP's application launcher so that it can't find these extra apps.
It's far from a weird request.
From an owner's point of view, you want to let the kids play with the Xbox. You don't want a "Your Xbox requires service" message because of it.
From an installer's point of view, you don't want end users deleting files left, right and centre then telling you "my Xbox ain't working now, it was fine before you chipped it".
