That line is already correct and will flash the chip you have, are you getting an error of some kind when trying to flash, or just making sure before you potentially do something harmful to the tsop?

test it with raincoat, do

./ raincoat -r backup.bin

it will ID your chip, see if its recognizes the flash or not, i doubt the letters make any difference

I saw that a few posts back, I don't know if they ever got it resolved. but I personally think it may have to do with the soldered jumpers not making contact like you mentioned before. to be sure you may want to contact Exobex.

WEIRDEST THING>>>>>>EVERYONE>>>>CHECK THIS OUT
it wasnt my solder job on the jumpers....that was fine....what i did was copied the
Flash = 0x20b0,"ST M29f002BT",0x40000 from raincoat config.....and put it in evox.ini....and used evox to flash the tsop.....and it worked like a charm......
wonder what the hell is up wiht raincoat on this little endeavor....and permission denied.....that shit is gay......ahha anyways it was a 256 k flash...with jbones blue flubber and blue and white splash....that i edited myself.....4891 baby....everyone needs to read this .....if raincoast doesnt work.try evox to flash it.....but make sure it isnt winbond or v1.5

Definitely.  There are no "permission denied" error messages built into raincoat.  chmod 777 * is likely to fix it (flagging everything as read-write-execute).  If not, try the same on the raincoat directory itself.
