256kb Bios In 1mb Tsop

just i wanna know if i flash 1 tsop of 1MB with 256kb bios and this TSOP working fine.....in the future i will get problem??

i flash my TSOP with 256kb bios and work fine but i read some topic with some problem when you use 256kb bios in 1MB TSOP

no its not good to do that. it only worked because you probably used evox to flash the chip right?

you wont get any problems from flashing a 256k bios with eox, any future problems will be unrelated, lol

just remember if you dont use evox to flash you need to have a 1mb bios file.

or use raincoat .7 to flash because evox and raincoat .7 have a feature to write the bios over as many times needed to fill the tsop chip. its a good thing you used evox or you would be experiencing a not so pleasant red and green flash i'd like to call the Fragmonster
