Oh yes i can almost  taste the sweet nector of my homemoded xbox   (mmMMmm tasty!!)
 
                Somebody needs to help me i opened my xbox and i want to flash it (its a virgin still has the m$ dashboard) i see the evox and executor2 are the best  but i dont know where to start....

i have no network connection  to my pc i want to be able to do this flashing off of cd-rw

i have a wide open xbox sitting in my room collecting dust

i also have Xiso
i also have ahead nero 6
and i have a version 1.0 xbox
and a cd-rw drive and 5 cd-rw's

i see on the web that modded xboxes have backgrounds to thier moded dashboards i want to be able to do that and also

copy dvd movies and games onto my hardisk

and thats about it

i want to be able to get evoxz dash on my xbox and flash my onboard tsop i know the soldering pionts just help me i know thiers some smart person out thier that can tell me how to completly evolution x my xbox i have no ftp access (network) and i want it put in laymens terms (plain down hoem english kid)

sounds to me like you already know a good amount.  Your pretty much talking about flashing the tsop, which is very similar to putting in a modchip.  That will allow you to run evox, and other homebrew apps, some of which will allow you to copy games, etc, to your hdd.

There are tons of tutorials ont these forums on how to do this to a virgin box using a hacked savegame for either Mechassault, 007 agent under fire or splinter cell.

Basically, your looking at soldering those points you talked about, running the hacked savegame of your choice.  That will load up evoX and you can flash the tsop from there.  You would probably then use your evox auto-installer cd to install evox so that it boots instead of the original ms dash


Note: keep in mind that if you feel up to it, a switch could be installed to split your tsop in 2.  This would allow you to keep using live after modding, but also make a bad flash almost impossible.  If you do flash one bank with a bad bios, you could jjust switch to the other, boot the xbox, flick the switch and flash again....

if you dont have access to any of thos egames you can try an HD hotswap to load a dashbaord exploit, same effect, or if you have access modchip (got friends?) you can use the tutorial linked in my sig
