Item "Flash Bios",ID_Flash_Bios

wait a sec....if you have evox, why not just flash from evox?

put a folder called Bios in the same folder as the default.xbe (in the MA gamesave directory) and put the bios you want to use in there, the add the line

Can the Eurasia flasher be updated, or is raincoat embedded in the initial filesystem that it loads up?  If this is the case, you may have to wait until they update their flash kits with raincoat 0.7.

I checked last night, and this indeed appears to be the case.  The filesystem is in a single file zipped into initrd.gz.  No raincoat in sight.

um.. did we bother to check our points?

just a q?  wink.gif

No need.  His manufacturer ID is coming up as AD, with a device type B0.  That means the flasher can see the chip, but hasn't got an entry in its configuration file that matches it.

I knew it wasnt the points, I am a very solid .. solderer.. mouthful there.

It was the fact that I didnt have the device in the list with raincoat.
The problem I was facing as you cans ee above it that my Raincoat on my card was extracing it from a bundle a gz, the new 0.7 wasnt setup that way to just copy and paste the files into it, I ended up creating my own gz with the new 0.7 afterwards.

But I ended up just adding the device info to my evox.ini and flashing it there, worked just fine. Just a new bios that I hadnt done, up to date ive done.. a gizzilon winbond and this was the first of this type, thanks for all your help tho you guys
