What Is Error 19?
« on: February 21, 2004, 03:49:00 AM »

I had accidentally replace the xboxdash.xbe in c:\ and now I am seeing error 19 everytime I boot the box. What is error 19? Did a search in the forum but could not find any help.

xbox v.15
Kernal 5530
Dash 5659 (downgraded to 4920 successfully to install font exploit)

I have a backup of the original HDD before I made my first change using HDD Driver.

After I mess up the xboxdash.xbe and encounter error 19, I unlock the HDD with unlockx and restore the original backup with HDD Driver and lock it back again before I connect it back into xbox to try but I am still seeing the error 19.

How can I restore my HDD to its original state? Anyone out there that can help?

Come on you could have found this...
http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/errorcodes.php
Its in the tuts section on the main site.

Unfortunately, it has no info on error 19.  Got a mate with an unmodded HDD?  You could try that.

Yes, that was the first place I lookup.

I always though the HDD Driver backup can restore the HDD to the point of backup but seems like that is not the case. Or maybe I miss something. BTW I also did a backup in Evox the very first time I got it to load, any use with this backup?
