Bloody Tsop

hey hey
i installed two switchs on wires 15 and 21 of the enigmah chip which let me turn it on and off.  then i booted from teh chip, turned it off, then flashed a 1.0 box with a 1024 kilobyte x2 4981 bios.  now when booting from either the chip or the tsop, it frags! what the deuce! even if you have a bunk tsop, shouldn't you be able to boot from the chip anyway?  thanks for any help.

You should know that the Enigmah isn't a total replacement BIOS, like a 29 wire homebrew. All it does it patch the existing bios, and can only be used with the v1.0 (and maybe 1.1) version Xboxes. If the TSOP bios is stuffed, the Enigmah is useless.

You definately have a 1Mb bios. Dunno what happened with the flashing, possibly a corrupt bios file.

How did you flash it? Did you use Evox?

ya i used evox.  i've got an x2pro, i'll throw that in instead of the enigmah.  then i should be able to fix the tsop.  when flashing with evox, it doesn't matter what the bios is called, right?

You can't flash your TSOP if you booted from an LPC modchip. It totally disables any possible link with the TSOP. You can use a matrix LPC modchip though and pull it at an exact time, but that doesn't always work.
