Reading /etc/raincoat.conf... (unable to open /etc/raincoat.conf, using default list)

That's the problem...

Go get raincoat .501 and redo the gamesave and try it again....if ya can't find it, search for exobex's posts..it's in his sig.

The "Highway 007" pack (on the frontpage, posted a few days ago) which uses Evox did not work.  I assumed it was cuz I haven't flashed the TSOP once yet.

Are we 100% sure it's the version of raincoat that I'm using that's causing this?!?

Holy Crap!!!!!

I can't believe that I didn't -READ- my own error message.

Zedek, thanks for pointing that out... I can't believe how stupid this makes me feel tongue.gif

Question though... is there a way to specify an alternate config file (rather than having to copy to /etc)?... Like ./raincoat -r backup.bin raincoat.conf or something along those lines?

1. make a etc dir in ur raincoat dir in ur gamesave
2. copy raincoat.conf to the etc dir that u created ur in raincoat dir (/raincoat/etc/)

Doubt if that'll work.  Raincoat 0.5 looks in /etc, not etc.  /etc is at the root.  You could mkdir /etc, but as the file system is read-only you won't get far.

Use raincoat 0.501 instead...

Make sure you haven't accidentally removed or shorted R7D2.

I don't know if it was because .501 looked in the same dir that I was running from, or if adding /etc to /raincoat helped, but either way I got it working smile.gif
